Mr P.A Hide

Qualified from Manchester Dental School in 1984 and moved back to Teesside to start work in Middlesbrough in 1984. He joined 1 Yarm Road as a partner in 1990 and became sole partner in 1993 when the practice was renamed Avante Dental Practice. In 1991 he obtained his DGDP RCS (UK) postgraduate qualification and a Diploma in Teaching and Learning from UCLAN in 2009.

Mr D. Watson

Qualified from Newcastle University in 2000 and completed Vocational Training with Avante Dental Care in 2001 and the Further Professional Training course in 2002. Between 2003 – 2006, he worked as a Clinical Assistant in Orthodontics at North Tees Hospital. He now spends 100% of his time as an Associate General Dental Practitioner with Avante Dental Care.

Mr S. Lee

Qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 2009 & joined Avante Dental Care in August 2009. He is currently working towards gaining the MJDF postgraduate qualification.

Miss O. Elsafy

Qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 2011 & joined Avante Dental Care in August 2011. She is also currently working towards gaining the MJDF postgraduate qualification.

Mr M. Bjorkeborn

Qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 2012 & joined Avante Dental Care in August 2012. He is currently working towards gaining the MFDS postgraduate qualification. During his time at Newcastle Dental School he also managed to complete a Master of Research degree in regenerative medicine and spent 4 months studying dentistry at Greifswald Dental School in Germany.
